ARCADIA'S
PHILOSOPHY
Arcadia's humble beginnings was as a
small Au natural, romantic getaway built by husband and wife team, Gerry
and Kathy. They saw it as a beautiful Garden of Eden. In
fact, Arcadia was named such as it represents the ancient Greek society
of Arcadia, which was an open-minded, nudist society. After
Gerry's death, it unfolded into more: a gathering place for an open
minded culture. All of it has been with the help of its members, a
membership that has grown over 17 years. Herewith a philosophy
has
evolved.
Our society's intense demands and fast pace has caused an even
greater need for a person to stop, deep breath and healthily
take in their world. Come experience Arcadia's
cedar-canopied nature and beauty, hedonistically feel the sun's rays and
warmth on one's body, take in quiet, read
a book for hours, sleep, watch movies, and pamper with a healing
massage. Join us here as a variety of people, sharing and accepting
"the
whole person" through campfires and hot tub gatherings , with lively
laughter, kinship and song and dancing with others.
Be in the present not into a departure of tomorrow.
Then enjoy our healing energy.
Couples require some alone, loving time to return to a state of
loving. Their outside world intrudes all to often on that space
and time together: schedules with children to be here, there,
everywhere; work demands; as even routine love making which is
alienating the partners. Where do they just say: " you and I
together for a weekend to make crazy love"? Where do you
live out some fantasies to fire up the "libido"? Our human nature
looks for change. Our Couples Fantasy Weekends may help answer
that need. Yes, these events are liberal and are couples-only events.
